CROWNWeb National Release Here June 14
Are You Ready?
CMS is pleased to announce the CROWNWeb National Release will be on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 8am ET. Starting on this date, all Medicare-certified dialysis facilities, as well as transplant and Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities that have volunteered to participate in CROWNWeb, may have their users log in to CROWNWeb to submit administrative and clinical data to CMS.
Facilities must ensure that their most recent patient and facility data are submitted to their ESRD Network by May 18, 2012. This day will serve as the deadline by which each ESRD Network must receive their facilities' data for conversion into CROWNWeb. Each dialysis facility will be responsible for ensuring that any patient and facility data that becomes available after May 18, 2012 is submitted via CROWNWeb.

Phase III Pilot Ending on April 20, 2012
CMS announced that the CROWNWeb Phase III Pilot will end on Friday, April 20, 2012. Facilities should not enter any data into CROWNWeb after this date, as data entered after this date will be permanently lost. Access to CROWNWeb will remain unavailable between the end of the Phase III Pilot and the national release. Please be sure to disable any bookmarks or direct links to the system.

CROWNWeb Phase III Extended Through April 20, 2012
On March 22, 2012, CMS announced an extension of the Phase III pilot through April 20, 2012. CMS will extend the Pilot for an additional four weeks to provide time for dialysis facilities to complete QIMS registration in preparation for the upcoming CROWNWeb National Release. CMS has also announced that all users with active QIMS accounts are welcome to log in to CROWNWeb during the remainder of the Phase III Pilot, and to enter data into the system. At the conclusion of this four-week period, CMS will provide an update to the community on the termination date of the Phase III Pilot and/or timeline for the CROWNWeb National Release.
